Terms of sale
These terms govern the purchase of the Known Portrait from Warren Dupuy, trading as KNOWN, of 77a Manor Road, London, N16 5NZ (“we”, “us”). Please read them before you pay. By completing a purchase you accept them.
What you are buying
The Known Portrait is a written document generated from the answers you give in an online questionnaire. It describes a partner archetype drawn from your own stated preferences and experiences, together with an analysis of those preferences.
It is a reflective and entertainment product. It is not matchmaking, introductions, dating, counselling, therapy, medical or psychological advice, or a prediction about any real person or future event. We do not put you in contact with anyone.
Price and payment
The price is €19.90, inclusive of any applicable VAT, as a single payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The charge appears on your statement as KNOWN PORTRAIT.
Delivery
Your portrait is shown on the site immediately after payment and a copy is sent to the email address you gave. Delivery is therefore immediate and digital; nothing is posted to you.
Your right to cancel, and how you waive it
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase and receive a refund.
Because this product is digital content delivered immediately, that right is lost once delivery begins — but only if you expressly ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that you are giving up the right. You are asked to confirm both at checkout, by ticking a box. If you do not tick it, your portrait is not generated and your 14 days remain.
This does not affect your legal rights if the product is faulty or not as described.
If something goes wrong
If your portrait fails to generate, arrives incomplete, or you are charged more than once, write to hello@knownportrait.com and we will put it right or refund you. See our refunds page.
Acceptable use
The portrait is for your personal use. You may share your own result freely. You may not resell it, present it as your own product, or use automated means to extract our questions, prompts or outputs in bulk.
Our liability
We provide the product with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for decisions you take about your relationships or your life on the basis of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Availability
We may change or withdraw the product at any time. If we withdraw it before delivering something you have paid for, we refund you in full.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought before its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
